Below are the guidelines governing our charity raffle.

1.      The 12 Bars of Christmas

Each establishment in the “12 Bars of Christmas" operates as its own legal entity and is independently owned and managed. The use of the name “12 Bars of Christmas" does not imply any legal partnership, joint venture, or shared ownership among the participating establishments. The name is used solely for marketing and promotional purposes. The 12 Bars of Christmas include:

  2. Goombays Grille & Raw Bar

  3. Mama Kwan's Tiki Bar & Grill

  4. Bonzer Shack

  5. Two Roads Tavern

  6. The Jolly Roger Restaurant

  7. Outer Banks Brewing Station

  8. Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint

  9. Basnight's Lone Cedar Café

  10. Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar

  11. Poor Richards Sandwich Shop

  12. Outer Banks Distilling

2.      The Charity Raffle

The Charity Raffle is brought to you by the 12 Bars of Christmas in collaboration with OBX Room in the Inn (jointly referred to as “The Organizers”). 100% of proceeds from passport sales support local charities and are managed by Outer Banks Community Foundation through the 12 Bars of Christmas Fund.

3.      Eligibility

The Charity Raffle is open to participants of the 12 Bars of Christmas Passport Challenge who are 18 years of age or older. This includes parents or legal guardians of Kids Quest participants who are 18 years of age or older.

3.  Agreement to Rules

By participating, you accept and agree to be bound unconditionally by these rules and confirm that you meet all eligibility criteria. Additionally, you acknowledge that the decisions of The Organizers regarding this raffle are final and binding.

 

4.  Raffle Period

The Charity Raffle begins on Nov. 29th at 11:00 a.m. and ends on Jan. 1st at 2:00 a.m. (the "Raffle Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Raffle Period will not be eligible.

 

5.  How to Enter

To enter the raffle, you must complete the following steps during the Raffle Period:

  1. Purchase an entry ticket (“Passport”) at any of the 12 Bars of Christmas. The cost of a Passport ranges from $5.00 (Kids Quest) to $10.00 (Passport Challenge).

  2. Collect 12 stamps (Passport Challenge) OR 3+ stamps (Kids Quest) on your Passport.

  3. Fill out the Entry Form (located inside your Passport) with your name, address, email address, and phone number.

  4. Submit the Entry Form to the designated raffle boxes located at the 12 Bars of Christmas. *Entry is restricted to adults, parents, and legal guardians ages 18+.

 

6.  Prizes

  • 2nd Prize: Turtlebox (1 winner)

  • 3rd Prize: Pair of Sun Boardwalk Bicycles (1 winner)

7.  Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

 

8.  Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of The Organizers on January 6th. Winners will be notified via email or phone within five (5) days following the selection of Winners. The Organizers shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e- mail, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non- functioning contact information.

 

9.  Terms & Conditions

The Organizers reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the 12 Bars of Christmas’ control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the raffle.

 

10.  Consent to Use Personal Information

By entering this raffle, you consent to the 12 Bars of Christmas’ use of your personal information for purposes of administering this raffle and for other promotional, marketing, and business purposes.

 

11.  Limitation of Liability

By entering, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Organizers, along with their related entities,includingsubsidiaries,affiliates,andtheirrespectiveagents,representatives,employees, officers, directors, successors, and assigns from any and all liability, including for injuries, loss, claims,ordamagesarisingfromyourparticipationintheraffle,whethercausedbynegligenceor otherwise, and including any issues related to the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
