Passport Challenge
Step 1: Purchase an optional $10 passport at any of the 12 Bars of Christmas (100% of proceeds from passport sales benefit local charities).
Step 2: Collect 12 stamps on your passport between Nov. 29th and Dec. 31st (one from each pop-up bar). *No purchase necessary.
Step 3: Show your completed passport at any of the 12 Bars of Christmas to receive a 2024 keepsake ornament (while supplies last).
Step 4: Submit the entry form at any of the 12 Bars of Christmas to enter the Charity Raffle (live drawing to be held on Jan. 6th).

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

OBX Room In The Inn
The mission of the OBX Room in the Inn, a faith-based organization, is to provide hospitality, food, and shelter to homeless adults in the Outer Banks during the winter months and support services year-round.

Client Intake: Triage guests at our offices and help in their journey to the shelter.
Overnight Chaperone: Stay with our guests overnight and help keep everyone safe, happy, and healthy.

Outer Banks Hotline
The Outer Banks Hotline offers emergency shelter and support services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in a supportive community living environment focused on healing. While in our care, survivors can access counseling, safety planning, critical care coordination, health care and other community resources. All services are completely confidential and free of charge.

Outer Banks Relief Foundation
The Outer Banks Relief Foundation eases financial burdens when tragedy strikes. Some examples of what our clients are facing include cancer, serious blood or nerve disorders, spinal injuries, and multiple sclerosis. We work closely with the other charitable and helping organizations here on the Outer Bank and with regional, state and national organizations to coordinate and maximize support.

Surfing for Autism
Surfing For Autism is an Autism Spectrum Disorder awareness event held each Summer on the Outer Banks of NC that provides our participants with an amazing experience and opportunity to surf. Each participant is partnered with two surfers and a skilled therapist or teacher who are well educated in the special needs of people with autism. Together, they experience paddling, surfing, and other creative ways to have fun in the sun.

Surfrider’s Outer Banks Chapter consists of more than 100 members — both locals and visitors — all committed to preserving the environment and access opportunities that define our home from Corolla to Frisco. It’s our belief that the more people enjoy the beach, the more they’ll work to protect its culture and ecology.

Over the past two decades, Outer Banks Surfrider’s tackled issues such as water quality and offshore energy while striving to give back to the community via scholarship programs, events and beach clean-ups. The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina
The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina is assisting the Hurricane Helene Relief and Recovery Effort and has activated its Emergency and Disaster Response Fund. The extent of the damage and needs in Western Carolina is only beginning to be understood. Communications challenges and very difficult conditions on the ground continue to be factor. The EDRF fund will ensure that frontline nonprofits have the resources they need for the critical early response and continuing recovery.
